Managing Director

Richard Burke founded Richard Burke Partnership in 1989, a professional firm of construction claims consultants operating in the UK, Portugal, Middle East and New Zealand.

Richard has spent 26 years in the construction and engineering industry, specialising in claims and dispute management. He has overall responsibility for the management and development of the firm's business worldwide. Richard has specialised in high value claims and disputes in the industrial and process sectors, and has built dedicated teams of professionals to represent the commercial interests of major international construction and engineering contractors and owners, in the UK, Middle East and Asia Pacific region.

Bruce Petersen, LLB.

Bruce Petersen is a Kuala Lumpur based lawyer with more than 20 years commercial law experience specialising in construction and engineering contracts, claims and disputes.

Bruce has extensive experience in power generation, petrochemical and mining contracts and claims.

Sergio F. S. Ribeiro, Civil Engineer and Business Adminstrator

Sergio F. S. Ribeiro is a Brazilian engineer with more than 35 years of experience in Construction and Engineering contracts in Brazil.
 
Sergio has extensive experience in mining and metals, automotive, chemicals industries contracts and claims, as well as government contracts. Sergio is based in S. Paulo, Brazil, representing Richard Burke Partnership as Marketing Agent.

Koichi Miyake
Business Development Japan

Koichi Miyake is a graduate of Kwansei Gakuin University and has 40 years of experience in the strategic planning, development and management of major commercial organisations.

Primarily involved in process industries he has substantial construction and engineering related experience and has worked throughout Japan, South America, Middle East and Europe.

Miyake-san represents Richard Burke Partnership in Japan and is responsible for Business Development and Administration for the firm’s projects in the region.
